We loved Alexandra & Marisol!!! Alexandra made our stay exceptionally great! She was very pleasant, kind and made us feel so welcomed our 1st time to San Diego! We'll definitely be back. Omg the the breakfast was so beautiful and delicious 😋. Bullseye for families and children! Everyone was happy, smiling and beyond satisfied. Thank you Anna B. Guzman and Pelucas for locating my wigs I left behind😆 ! We all had a good laugh!! Also to Frangeline & Cristina , We thank you so much for our beautiful clean room and extra towels . Please let us know how we can tip them . All of our cash tips went to Uber ,Lyft, and your front desk🥰. See you soon Hampton Inn! Stay Classy💖💖💖💖💖

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Absolutely perfect location! We had no real agenda other than to visit Maritime Museum. We were in walking distance! That was the major perk! No driving is needed! Walked around the neighborhood and strolled into Little Italy! The room was perfect, and the beds were so comfortable! I knew that once I hit those pillows, and I would fall asleep! The breakfast was good. No complaints about that. The 2 gentlemen at the desk were quite informative and were helpful with our questions. Very friendly as well, approachable. This was nice. Would we stay again? Heck YES! This is perfect location and great scenery all around!

The location of the hotel is in the heart of the city. Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff quickly and efficiently took care of us by assigning a room. Breakfast at the hotel very tasty and varied, as for American breakfasts. There was always coffee available on site - for 24 hours. Traveling in the US, I left one suitcase at the hotel for safekeeping and picked it up without any problem after 2 weeks. In addition, I ordered various items from Amazon services and the hotel also stored them for me to pick up on arrival.

Best value for your money- half the price of other hotels in the area. Great downtown location near the bay, restaurants, and is just a short drive to Balboa park. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and parking was secure. Being downtown San Diego, I thought there would be more unhoused people, but I was pleasantly surprised by how few I saw and how safe the area seemed. I definitely would recommend for families or anyone looking to enjoy Downtown San Diego without spending an arm and a leg.

It is only a block from the harbor through the park. It is also just a 10 minute walk from Seaport Village (or one could take the tram, which is right by the hotel). Although the tram is right there it didn't bother us at all.
